How We Are Involved
St. Anne's Knights Make a Difference
Below are just a few of the example of how our Brother Knights make a difference in our community. (Some events have been modified or changed due to the effects of recent pandemic health issues.)

Church
Our members are active in the following ministries: Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, Ushers, Outreach, CCD instructors, Culture of Life, Prison, Hospitality, St. Anne’s seniors, Marriage Preparation and several other areas.
We raise funds for the education of Seminarians in the Stockton Diocese. Over $2,000 is raised and donated to this cause each year.
The council hosts the annual Priest Appreciation dinner to thank our parish’s religious leaders for the service and sacrifices they provide to the parishioners of St. Anne’s. The profit from this dinner go directly back to our parish priests.
We contribute to the St. Anne’s VBS each summer
We assist St. Anne’s School with their Harvest festival each year.

Community
We raise around $2,000-3,000 annually in our Tootsie Roll Drive, which is donated to Tuolumne Trails and the Hanot Foundation. They provide summer respite for adults with special needs.
Our Knights are volunteer coaches, blood donors and honor our service veteran at local cemeteries.
We respond to the requests of fellow charitable groups when help is needed.

Family
Once each quarter, families attend the 8:30 AM Sunday mass as a group. After mass, we proceed to a restaurant for breakfast and fellowship.
Families attend our installation-of-officers potluck dinner each July.
Each November we have a mass and potluck dinner to honor or departed brothers. Families of our departed brothers are invited to attend.
The widows of our departed Knights are considered part of our council family and may receive our monthly newsletter.

Youth
Present the Knights of Columbus Award and scholarship to the graduate of St. Anne’s School who demonstrated the service and philosophy of the Knights.
Provide financial or manpower support to Northern CA Special Olympics regional events.
